In addition to safety, the Porch Storm Shelter adds to the home’s value as well as enhancing its appearance. With an adaptable Design, it can be installed next to existing decks or porches, or can act as the entire porch by itself.
Our Porch Storm Shelter provides an attractive addition to a home and is usually not recognizable to the average observer as a storm shelter.
The design and construction of the porch storm shelters ensures great strength and durability. Made of 4 1/2 ” thick walls, floor and roof using high strength concrete poured over steel mesh screens and rebar, the shelter is like a bank vault in strength.

Our heavy duty waterproof entry hatch comes with a safety catch to keep it open during entry and exit even in high winds and three spring loaded latches on the inside to keep it shut during the storm. A drainage channel and seal keep water out during a storm.
Our heavy duty Steel ladder provide easy entry to and exit from the shelter through the hatch.
Two ingeniously designed windows allow air circulation and natural light penetration while preventing the entrance of water or wind-driven debris.
Interior screens keep bugs and critters outside of your shelter.
The shelter is installed away from the structure to avoid footers and other hidden obstructions. Using our heavy duty "L" brackets, a treated lumber walkway will bridge the gap between the shelter and your home or structure.

When you buy a new Porch Storm Shelter, trained professional installation is included. This includes excavation and placement of the shelter.
Extreme storm resistance is provided by the fact that approximately half or more of the depth of the shelter is in the ground. A wide lip around the bottom of the unit acts as an anchor. Since the shelter is not actually attached to the house, destruction to the house does not affect the shelter.
